２年ほど前に採集した小型のホマロメナが博士のファームで開花して新種と認定されました。
One of the very first plants you sent to us, from Pulau Lingga, has flowered. It is a new species of Homalomena of the Chamaecladon Supergroup. P.B..

Another Yellow-Oｒange spathe broadeｒ leaf Buce. sp "Marie" from Borneo.
もう一つの広葉・小波葉のイエロー・オレンジ色の花を咲かせる sp "Marie" Borneo です。

全く別物のように変化しました。

Bucephalandra. sp Brownie "Metallica" West Kalimantan at farm




葉の表面に強い艶を放つ"Ｍｅｔａllｉｋａ"です。

ファームに移植してから１ヶ月後の状態です。

自生地では青と緑のメタリックに輝いていました。



"Metallika".has very strong shininy metallic blue and green.

After 1 month transplants to the farm,,,,.

もう1種類
Bucephalandra. sp " Intermediate " Central Kalimantan cutting culture at farm





これらは Buce. sp "Intermediate" を挿し木の要領で５ヶ月間育てたものです。

成長点を残して葉と根を切り取り活性炭の床に挿し木しました。

"Intermediate" とは "Ulysses"と "Super Blue" 中間点で採取したものです。


These Buces sp " Intermediate" are 5month grown from cutting culture.

They grown on activated carbon floor after removed athe leaves and roots except stem and growing point..

Bucephalandra sp.Solid Blue の乾季の自生地には青く輝く葉の群落が点在していました。

今回は滝の縁の個体を少し採集しました。

In the dry season "Solid Blue" habitat forming many small clusters with bright blue leaves.

This time, collected few individuals at the edge of the waterfall...

大型でも人気のタイプです





今回もBuce.sp "Goliath White spathe" の自生地を訪れてみました。

これらは垂直の切り立った崖に自生しています。


I revisit to the habitat of Buce.sp "Goliath White spathe" .

Their habitat are the sheer vertical cliff..

今回新たに採取した赤葉のビブリスです。

自生地は岩場が湿地帯に近づくにつれて消失する地点でした。

Bucephalandra.sp　Brownie "Brown" exposed to direct sunlight at rainforest.

Kalimantan in the midde of dry/hot season now, I met wondeful sight everyday.


直射日光にさらされるブラウニー”ブラウン”です。

今カリマンタンは乾季の真っ最中、毎日のように素晴らしい光景に出会いました。..

Bucephalandra. sp "Cherish III" habitat was contaminated with peat dust from upper stream.

After 2 month leaves are showing original color and start to produce sparthe at farm.

チェリシュ　III　の自生地は上流から流れてくるピートに汚れていて本来の美しさは見られませんでした。

ファームに持ち帰ってから２ヶ月後にようやく本来の美しい葉色が再現されて開花も始まりました

Only 1 small red leaves cluster found at upper stream about 20 xes.
ブラウニー・ブラウンの自生地に上流に一かたまりのみあった赤葉の群落です。

２０程しかありませんでした。...

This Gigantic Blue Buce from Central Kalantan.

Habitat nearby dried stream as "Super Blue" location.

Variety of sizes 30 exs.


中央カリマンタンのブルー系ブケ類の自生地を探索しました。

これは巨大なブルー系の”カスケード・キング”です。

"Super Blue"　と同じ水系の上流で採取しました。

大小の差が有ります。　３０株。..
